No.
They are informed of the bad news.
They are the first to be aware of national heartache.
They are the messengers of what they don’t want to say aloud.
But.
As they deliver, there is no pain in their faces.
No worry.
No sadness.
No hurt.
They are all trained to be emotionless to save us.
They save they’re emotions for those who they deem close.
How dare they show their emotions and open up to thousands?
How dare they show their emotions to those who don’t matter to them?
Why don’t I open up to you and you and you anymore?
You have proven to me that I don’t matter to you.
